The first thought that crossed my mind after watching this video is a relation of goods with nature. Without thinking deeply about where the goods come, and where they go, we as consumers just know using stuff and throw them away after they cannot be used anymore or outdated. Nowadays, we are in a big crisis because we consume too much stuff without concerning about its effect to the natural resources. Productions of goods or stuff actually use a lot of natural resources and we know natural resources become less and lesser every day. With natural resources decreasing day by day and pollution increasing every day, these problems make the earth condition become worse and terrible. As a group of ethical people who cares about nature, we have to take action to stop all of these problems from keep occurring. We can start to recycle, plan our expenditure to less consume stuff and try to minimize using natural energy such as electricity. Is it hard to practice those things? No, it isn't. If we do care what Annie said about sustainability and equity, as a human being, we should involve in this matter to save or Mother Nature from perish by our own hand. Consumerism is the primary reason of increasing trashes in this country. The problem arises when not all trashes are recyclable or reusable. So, they will be thrown into a dumpsite, where all of these trashes can bring toxicity to the soil. Toxic produce pollution and harm us. We do not have any option besides taking care of our Earth. Here are a few things what I suggest for us to start taking care about to save the earth. Buy less can make the Earth happy and recycle can cheer the Earth. For me, the Earth is a part of nature which we have to preserve and protect for our next generation.

I agree with Ikhwan Jamaludin that something definitely needs to be done in our society to address the issues at hand. However I think we should be care not to place all of the blame on capitalism. As an American I think capitalism is what makes our country so great. Anyone can come in and pursue the career they want and be successful. This is one of the things that makes our country so great. That being said, we have a definite problem with the way our country wastes so much. I don’t think it is as easy as stated in this response. For Americans to change their consumption habits anytime in the future significantly enough to make a difference. I think the greatest way we can make a difference is to focus on how we can turn our waste into something new. I believe this way is much more realistic because it will be very hard for us to change the consumption habits of our country.
It is true. Well, Great job on the post. I'm an pro-eco (green) too, and so conserving and recycling is the way. Can't add much else to this comment. Your post pretty much sums up the entirety of preserving the earth in ways. Although it is difficult to try to change the way the people of this country consumes their products. The country has been the way it was, and nowadays people are trying to find ways to recycle the things we use into something new, reusable, or simply beneficial to us and the environment. I agree with the comment before this, the best way to make a difference is to focus on how to change our waste into something new.
I concur with Ikhwan and the fact that we consume too much stuff without being concerned about what it does to our environment. The worldly view of materials is the more, the better and every individual is enticed by the latest commodity. With this mindset, there is a constant push by producers create something better or enhance a product to keep the eyes of consumers fixated on the products rather than the larger concern. The larger concern should be the destruction of the earth’s natural resources and the highly unnecessary amounts of waste created from often perfectly good equipment or goods that have been outdated in use only because new goods have been created to replace them and are suppose to be more effective. I also feel that the intelligent people that continue to make products should use their brilliant minds to come up with an effective recycling economy. I agree with Ikhwan and I think that with all the goods that are being produced and just dumped, I’m sure some parts of the product are reusable. Reusing some of the goods could really help sustain the enormous waste and toxin problem that we are continually creating on mother earth.
